This role will operate strategically alongside executive leadership, external auditors, and international operations—ensuring adherence to IFRS/BR GAAP standards, corporate governance, and continuous improvement of financial and automation processes. **Work location:** Araçatuba - SP **See what your day-to-day will look like:** * **Lead the monthly financial closing process (month-end close)**, ensuring completion by D+5, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, reclassifications, and consolidation adjustments; * Ensure integrity of the **Trial Balance** and Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity) under both **IFRS and BR GAAP**; * Coordinate the **multi-entity chart of accounts** and the DEPARA mapping process between local structures and consolidation; * Coordinate **financial consolidation of international entities** (Brazil, USA, Colombia, among others), including multiple currencies and accounting frameworks; * Ensure proper **intercompany eliminations** and foreign currency translation procedures per **IAS 21/CPC 02**; * Ensure consistency in intercompany transactions and compliance with **transfer pricing** rules across Brazil, the U.S., and Colombia; * Serve as the **primary contact for external audit (Big 4)**, ensuring audit-ready workpapers and prompt responses to audit findings; * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including: * **IFRS 15/CPC 47** – SaaS Revenue; * **IFRS 16/CPC 06** – Leasing; * **IAS 38/CPC 04** – Intangibles and R&D capitalization; * **IAS 36/CPC 01** – Impairment; * **IAS 16/CPC 27** – Property, Plant and Equipment; * **IAS 21/CPC 02** – Foreign Currency Translation; * Maintain and evolve the **internal controls matrix**, aligned with the COSO framework and prepared for potential SOX requirements; * Produce and present **monthly management reporting** to the CFO and executive leadership; * Conduct in-depth **variance analysis**, identifying root causes and proposing action plans; * Support development of financial materials for the Board and executive committees, ensuring clarity of narrative and relevance of KPIs; * Oversee Brazilian tax obligations—including **SPED Contábil, SPED Fiscal, ECF, and ECD**—in partnership with specialized consultants and service providers; * Ensure alignment with **tax compliance tools**, such as TaxOne, ONESOURCE, or similar; * Lead **automation initiatives in Finance & Control**, including automated closing, intelligent reconciliations, and use of AI for document analysis and workpaper generation. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields—we value career experience and technical depth over specific degrees; * Relevant experience (3+ years) in a technology company, SaaS firm, or high-growth startup (Series B+); * Prior exposure or experience with Big 4 auditing (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC)—preferably in Audit or Advisory; * Practical mastery of key IFRS pronouncements: IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 38, IAS 36, IAS 21, IAS 16; * Experience with SAP Business One and/or SAP S/4HANA (or similar-tier ERP); * Hands-on experience with multi-entity, multi-currency closing and consolidation; * Intermediate/advanced English—required for reporting to investors and international stakeholders; **Preferred qualifications:** * Familiarity with FP&A tools (Datarails, Anaplan, Adaptive) or BI platforms (Power BI, Looker); * Python and/or SQL for reconciliation automation and data pipelines; * Experience engaging with investors, due diligence, and preparing materials (equity story, QoE, normalized EBITDA); * Experience managing a finance & control team or accounting analysts;
