Coordination of Human Resources processes We are seeking a professional to lead the Business Unit's (BU) integrated performance management, including managerial reporting, financial planning, and governance, with on-site work in Itajaí/SC. This role will act as a strategic partner to the business area and project management, ensuring robust financial control, as well as effective risk and compliance management. The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating the BU’s Human Resources processes in close collaboration with the HR department, contributing to organizational efficiency and team development. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- ### **Business Unit Controller** * Act as a strategic partner to BU leadership, translating financial analyses into concrete actions and ensuring their execution. * Lead the preparation of managerial reports, KPIs, dashboards, and performance review cycles. * Drive margin improvement, cost control, cash generation, and working capital optimization initiatives. * Conduct the BU’s monthly and annual accounting closing processes. * Manage the financial planning cycle, including continuous forecasting and annual planning (P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet). * Analyze performance variances and recommend corrective actions. * Monitor liquidity and cash conversion, collaborating with other departments to implement improvements. ### **Project Controller** * Serve as the primary financial contact for project managers, teams, and clients on strategic projects. * Develop and monitor project financial forecasts (costs, revenues, cash flow, and profitability). * Perform variance analysis and prepare managerial and project monitoring reports. * Conduct independent assessments of risks and opportunities. * Support claims management and contractual change control. * Review proposals and financial calculations jointly with project managers. * Define, monitor, and report project-specific KPIs. * Execute project-related financial closing activities (monthly and annual). * Ensure compliance with internal guidelines on commercial matters. * Prepare materials for decision-making forums and executive reviews, ensuring transparency and information quality. ### **HR Coordination** * Coordinate workforce planning, headcount control, and position management in partnership with HR. * Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. * Contribute to performance evaluation cycles and talent development initiatives. * Monitor HR KPIs and costs, ensuring data quality and adherence to internal policies. ### **Leadership \& Collaboration** * Advise BU leadership on financial and people management topics. * Prepare materials for executive presentations and support strategic initiatives. * Ensure alignment with corporate Finance and Human Resources standards. * Participate in cross-functional initiatives and represent the BU in corporate Finance, Tax, and HR forums. **Requirements** -------------- * Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and internal controls. * Knowledge of labor legislation and HR practices is considered a plus. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. * Ethical, discreet, and trustworthy profile, capable of acting as the BU leadership’s right-hand person. * Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written). **Travel** ----------- * Up to 25% for corporate meetings and client visits **Differentiators:** * **Microsoft Excel, MS Project, Power BI** (or similar BI tools), ERP systems, SharePoint, or document management tools. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; MBA or HR specialization is a plus. * **Experience:** 7–10+ years of experience in Finance/Controller roles, with strong business partnering and HR process interface or management experience.
