**Description and Responsibilities**

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
**Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT
* Conduct safety inspections in departments using checklists, observing the use of PPE and engineering controls, evaluating environmental conditions, machines, and equipment, identifying requirements for activity supervision, providing guidance, issuing notifications or warnings to employees in cases of non-use of PPE;
* Monitor company high-risk activities in accordance with regulatory standards, collecting requirements from managers, completing work permits and preliminary risk assessments, as well as visiting sites to supervise activity execution and guide employees when necessary;
* Provide PPEs and engineering controls to employees in accordance with PPRA and/or PGR, seeking quotations, executing purchases, and tracking system approvals, as well as assisting employees during onboarding or replacement by requisitioning items from the warehouse and completing the PPE delivery record;
* Receive employees’ medical certificates, entering\-them into the control spreadsheet, consolidating data on reason, department, number of absence days, and forwarding information to HR and Payroll;
* Submit employees’ absences exceeding 15 (fifteen) days to Social Security, considering the reason (sickness benefit or work-related accident), via the Meu INSS portal, entering personal data and absence reason, generating the absence certificate and guiding the employee on next steps;
* Procure uniforms for employees (production, logistics, trade marketing, and maintenance), seeking quotations, aligning models, obtaining approvals and purchasing, as well as delivering them to employees and recording in the PPE record;
* Conduct awareness campaigns through lectures, training sessions, DSS’s, SIPAT, and other methods, identifying gaps requiring attention, seeking partnerships and/or developing materials, scheduling sessions in alignment with managers, and executing the activities;
* Deliver training sessions in accordance with regulatory standards, verifying training validity, preparing materials or sourcing suppliers, as well as managing quotations and approvals;
* Process payments for SESMT services and/or products, entering purchase requests into the system, submitting invoices to Accounting, and tracking approvals;
* Conduct visits to points of sale, creating schedules in partnership with the Trade Marketing department manager, observing PPE usage and employee conduct, and guiding staff;
* Consolidate departmental indicators, including medical certificates, work-related accidents, and absences; analyze indices, identify gaps, propose control actions, and present findings to Executive Management;
* Manage periodic medical examinations, verifying document validity, scheduling with managers and providers according to the schedule aligned with Executive Management;
* Arrange hazardous and contaminated waste collection, assessing requirements, obtaining quotations and approvals, scheduling collection, coordinating proper waste disposal, and monitoring service execution;
* Promote the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) in compliance with legislation, respecting the established calendar and term, organizing candidacies, elections, announcing elected members, and developing training and meeting schedules;
* Establish and maintain a voluntary Fire Brigade in accordance with regulatory instructions, respecting the calendar and term, delivering training and simulations;
* Prepare PPP (Previdenciary Occupational Profile) upon request, identifying occupational hazards per job function and drafting the document;
* Respond to emergencies or work-related accidents, administering first aid and/or outpatient care, referring employees for medical treatment if necessary, and accompanying hospital care in severe cases, including filing the Work Accident Report (CAT) when applicable;
* Investigate occurred accidents using dedicated forms, analyzing root causes and possible contributing factors, and mapping improvement opportunities;
* Arrange issuance of safety reports in accordance with NRs and current laws, seeking quotations, approvals, and contracting services, while providing quantitative and qualitative data on risks inherent to machines, equipment, and job functions, validating issued reports based on applied methodologies and proposed action plans;
* Participate in inspections conducted by competent authorities, receiving and guiding inspectors, providing required documentation, supplying information related to machine and equipment safety and environmental matters, and complying with granted deadlines;
* Perform tasks related to the role as requested by immediate management.
**Requirements**
--------------
Experience in industries, civil construction, or similar sectors;
Experience delivering training (e.g., NRs);
Development and management of area-specific indicators;
Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety;
Desirable: Proficiency courses in occupational safety (regulatory standards);
Basic computer skills (Excel);
Driver’s License Category B;
