Then join us in **CO-CREATING** as a **Researcher II**! **Your day-to-day challenges will include:** * Scientific Research Leadership: Lead and conduct cutting-edge AI research applied to telecommunications systems, taking responsibility for proposing novel techniques and innovative approaches; * Advanced Model Development: Design and implement complex AI/ML/GenAI architectures (Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning, RAG, SLM/LLM) aimed at automating and optimizing next-generation networks (5G Advanced and 6G); * Mentoring and Collaboration: Guide junior researchers and interns on technical tasks, while actively collaborating with academic and industrial partners in Brazil and abroad; * Technology Transfer and Productization: Serve as a bridge between scientific research and product development, ensuring innovations are scalable and applicable to the global market; * Intellectual Output and Patents: Lead the writing of high-impact scientific journal articles and proactively identify opportunities for patent and software registration; * Technology Roadmap: Strategically contribute to refining CPQD’s technology roadmap by anticipating Telco AI trends. **We are looking for someone with:** * Strong Academic Background: Completed Master’s degree or ongoing PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or related fields, with focus on AI/ML or Telecommunications; * Proficiency in Frameworks and Languages: Solid experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit\-learn); * Applied Mathematics and Statistics: Deep knowledge for analyzing large-scale network data, validating complex hypotheses, and rigorously evaluating model performance; * Modern AI Architectures: Experience with generative models (LLMs), reinforcement learning, or applied optimization techniques; * Software Engineering for Research: Proficiency in Git, hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, and API development (REST/gRPC); * Advanced English: Fluency for reading and writing international scientific papers and participating in global technical meetings; * Availability for hybrid work in Campinas. **It would be a plus if you have:** * Open Ecosystem Experience: Advanced knowledge of 3GPP specifications and O\-RAN Alliance architectures (xApp/rApp development); * Cloud Knowledge: Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure tailored for AI workloads; * Relevant Scientific Output: A track record of publications in prestigious conferences or journals in networking or artificial intelligence; * AIOps: Interest or prior experience in intelligent automation of high-performance infrastructure and hardware (GPUs/TPUs). **CPQD offers:** * Daycare or babysitter allowance; * Unimed health insurance; * Uniodonto dental insurance; * Vidalink medication allowance; * Meal/food voucher; * Life insurance; * Pet health plan; * Vacation bonus above market standards; * Private pension plan; * WellHub; * Commuter shuttle service; * Free parking; * Payroll-deducted loans; * Birthday day off; * Holiday bridging; * Citizen company: extended maternity and paternity leave; * Postgraduate support program; * Partnerships and agreements: facilitating access to health, leisure, culture, and education options; * Internal programs: focused on development and well-being.
