**Job Description:**
We are looking for a QA Analyst with strong expertise in test automation and solid experience in the acquiring (payment processing) industry. You will be responsible for ensuring resilience, security, and quality of high-volume transactions, validating end-to-end flows—from transaction capture to financial settlement. The ideal candidate combines technical precision in writing reusable scripts with business knowledge required to handle complexities involving card networks, sub-acquirers, and payment gateways.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
Test Automation (Proactive): Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation scripts (Web, Mobile, or APIs) to ensure high regression test coverage within CI/CD pipelines.
Incident Management and Resolution (Reactive): Handle and refine Jira tickets, perform bug triage, conduct root cause analysis of production failures, and validate emergency fixes.
Business and Transaction Validation: Plan and execute targeted test scenarios for the acquiring ecosystem (authorization, reversal, refund, settlement, chargeback, and card network-specific flows).
Technical Investigation: Perform API testing (REST/JSON) and query structured databases to ensure end-to-end transaction traceability.
Continuous Improvement (Proactive): Propose enhancements to testing processes across development squads, minimizing risks and reducing time-to-market for new payment features.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
Solid experience in test automation using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework).
In-depth knowledge of the acquiring / payment processing industry, including its business rules and regulatory workflows.
Experience in REST API integration testing (advanced usage of Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools).
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for transactional data validation.
Professional experience with test management and task tracking tools (Jira).
**Nice-to-Haves:**
Knowledge of performance/load testing (JMeter, K6).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
