Mid-Level Fullstack Developer – Maintenance Focus

About the position We are looking for a Mid-Level Fullstack Developer with a focus on maintenance to support the upkeep, evolution, and stability of critical applications. This person will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex issues, implementing improvements in existing systems, and ensuring the availability and quality of solutions—collaborating directly with multidisciplinary teams to foster a robust, scalable, and reliable environment. Responsibilities ✔ Investigate, diagnose, and fix complex bugs in microservice-based applications using Java, Kotlin, and Spring. ✔ Perform maintenance and evolution of frontend applications built with React and TypeScript. ✔ Develop enhancements, technical refactorings, and new features while ensuring backward compatibility of applications. ✔ Monitor application health via logs, metrics, and observability tools, proactively preventing incidents. ✔ Write, maintain, and enhance automated tests to ensure delivery quality and prevent regressions. ✔ Update and maintain technical documentation, contributing to knowledge sharing and faster problem resolution. ✔ Participate in production incident analysis and resolution, identifying root causes and proposing continuous improvements. Requirements ✔ Solid backend development experience with Java and practical experience with Kotlin. ✔ Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security. ✔ Experience maintaining and evolving applications built with React and TypeScript. ✔ Knowledge of state management, rendering, and styling using CSS and Sass. ✔ Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. ✔ Ability to analyze data structures and optimize SQL queries. ✔ Experience with RESTful APIs, integrations, and log analysis for troubleshooting. ✔ Proficiency with Git, including branch management and merge conflict resolution. ✔ Experience with automated testing and software quality best practices. Nice-to-have ➕ Experience with microservice-based architectures. ➕ Hands-on experience with observability and application monitoring tools. ➕ Knowledge of CI/CD practices. ➕ Experience in high-availability environments and maintenance of mission-critical systems. ➕ Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
