This will significantly increase your chances of success. #### **About the Opportunity** We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join a custom web development project in the Portuguese public sector. You will play an essential role in gathering and analyzing requirements, understanding business rules, and translating stakeholder needs into clear functional specifications. You will work closely with the development team, overseeing implementation and validating whether delivered features meet defined requirements. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Gather, analyze, and clarify stakeholder needs. * Understand and document business rules and functional requirements. * Prepare clear, complete, and precise functional specifications. * Create use cases, flow diagrams, flowcharts, prototypes, and other supporting documentation. * Perform technical and functional analysis of custom web solutions. * Work with Oracle and SQL, including queries and procedures. * Participate in data modeling activities. * Create and maintain Feature Files. * Apply principles and practices of the RUP methodology. * Collaborate directly with the development team throughout the implementation lifecycle. * Provide guidance and clarification regarding functional requirements. * Validate implemented features against approved requirements. * Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities. * Support the team during implementation and on-the-job monitoring. * Ensure effective communication between technical and business areas. #### **Mandatory Requirements** * More than 6 years of professional experience in Functional Analysis. * Proven experience in custom web development projects. * Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. * Solid knowledge of Oracle and SQL. * Practical experience with SQL queries and procedures. * Experience in technical and functional analysis. * Experience in creating and maintaining Feature Files. * Knowledge and practical experience with RUP. * Solid experience in data modeling. * Experience in creating use cases, diagrams, flowcharts, and prototypes. * Experience with SVN. * Ability to collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Fluent Portuguese. * Current residence in Portugal. * Availability to work within Portugal’s working hours. #### **Top 5 Competencies** * Functional Analysis * SQL * Use Cases * Data Modeling * Feature Files #### **Ideal Profile** The ideal candidate has senior-level Functional Analysis experience and a solid track record bridging business needs with the technical implementation of custom web applications.
