**Job Description:**
----------------------
We are pioneers in implementing electronic perimeter security across the country and today operate in over 200 Brazilian cities. Through an AI software development center, we apply innovative technologies to ensure excellence in the delivery of every project. We make places better so that people can be better! DGT Tecnologia’s innovations support the construction of safer and smarter cities through an ecosystem connecting communities with security forces, delivering technology-driven solutions for crime reduction focused on well-being. We are purpose-driven and future-focused, with a highly collaborative team ethic and commitment to personal development—ensuring every challenge receives the solution it deserves. At DGT Tecnologia, you can give your best.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Act as the primary design reference within the development team, transforming business requirements (defined jointly with the Product Owner and Coordinator) into functional, consistent, and user-centered interfaces. Guarantee high-quality user experience across company systems, balancing UX/UI best practices with technical feasibility and delivery timelines.
**Essential Requirements:**
------------------------------
KEY SKILLS
Technical & Software Quality Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, navigable prototyping).
Rigorous organization of design files (named layers, organized pages, reusable components).
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for effective communication with developers.
Understanding of responsive design (mobile-first, adaptation for tablets and desktop).
Familiarity with established Design Systems (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design) or ability to follow an existing one.
Basic knowledge of digital accessibility (contrast, hierarchy, keyboard navigation).
Analytical & Decision-Making Skills:
Ability to translate PO requirements into user flows and wireframes.
Identify usability issues in existing systems and propose feasible improvements.
Prioritize design deliverables based on business impact and development effort.
Make autonomous design decisions, validating them with the PO and developers when necessary.
Communication & Collaboration Skills:
Work side-by-side with developers, QA, and the Product Owner during daily standups and refinement sessions.
Explain design decisions clearly in non-designer language.
Perform efficient handoff in Figma (specify sizes, colors, states, margins, hover/click behaviors).
Collect and incorporate feedback constructively.
Behavioral Skills:
Pragmatism: balance ideal design with time and technological constraints.
Autonomy: ability to study references, seek solutions, and solve problems
without a senior designer present.
Proactivity: anticipate design needs during sprints and question ambiguous requirements.
Resilience to mixed feedback: mediate between business interests (PO) and technical feasibility (developers).
ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED
Backend System Development & Maintenance:
Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes in Figma for new features.
Develop and maintain screens consistent with the defined visual standard (or gradually evolve an existing standard).
Apply usability principles and information hierarchy in interfaces.
Integration & Sustainment:
Support screen implementation by developers, clarifying doubts and adjusting specifications.
Conduct visual review (design QA) before delivery to ensure fidelity to the prototype.
Document reusable components in a simple guide (or directly in Figma).
Optimization & Performance:
Identify and propose fixes for usability issues in existing systems.
Simplify complex flows based on internal user or PO feedback.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Study market UX/UI references and bring suggestions to the team.
Participate in communities and courses to advance technically (given there is no internal senior designer).
Stakeholder & Team Engagement:
Attend agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review) aligned with the PO and Coordinator.
Present design proposals to internal stakeholders, defending decisions with objective arguments.
Post-Delivery Follow-up & Continuous Improvement:
Collect usability feedback after delivery (through observation or conversations with users).
Iterate on interfaces based on metrics or reported issues.
Academic Background
Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate degree in Design, Digital Design, Information Systems,
Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
Complementary UX/UI Design courses (e.g., Google UX Design, Interaction Design Foundation, Alura, Udemy) will be considered equivalent to formal academic training.
**Desirable Requirements:**

Desirable Differentiators
Basic understanding of Scrum/Kanban.
Portfolio demonstrating at least two complete projects (may include academic work,
