Tech Lead

This is NOT an executive role that merely delegates tasks and designs strategy. It is the role of a builder: someone who writes code daily. THE CHALLENGE Our operation has grown rapidly, and technology must keep pace. A technical foundation is already in place — databases, integration routines, and dashboards — and it needs a senior owner to stabilize, automate, and evolve this infrastructure, always focusing on business impact and data security. RESPONSIBILITIES * Data engineering and architecture * Structure, model, and govern the database (PostgreSQL) as the single source of truth for operations. * Design and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines: reliable, monitored, and resilient to failures. * Ensure data quality: completeness, consistency, deduplication, and reconciliation across sources. * Implement and uphold security for sensitive personal data. * Workflow automation * Identify manual bottlenecks in operational workflows and automate them. * Build and maintain API-based integrations between operational systems. * Propose and implement continuous improvements to operational efficiency. * Analytics and decision support Build and maintain reliable dashboards and metrics for operational monitoring. Transform data into actionable business intelligence. Provide analytical support for leadership’s strategic decisions. * Technical leadership and business vision Be the technical owner: decide architecture, select tools, define standards, and document. Proactively propose technological solutions that optimize cost, time, and capacity. Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders. * REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ~5 years of experience in engineering, data science, backend development, or equivalent roles. PostgreSQL / SQL: data modeling, query performance tuning, indexing, and advanced features. Advanced Python 3 for data engineering (data manipulation, API integrations, robust ETL). Production pipelines: proven experience building integrations/ETL running in production. Integration with third-party APIs (REST, token-based authentication, pagination, webhooks). Data security mindset — understands and applies LGPD in practice. True autonomy — operates with minimal supervision, defines own roadmap, and delivers without micromanagement. * PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in the legal market, legal-tech, or regulated service operations. Experience with workflow automation tools (no-code/low-code). Experience in lean operations / startups, dynamic environments.
