You must demonstrate passion for food, unwavering commitment to development and learning, and a strong desire to deliver results and solutions superior to routine ones. **A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Assistant...** SGSA Management: Review policies, processes, procedures, and records to ensure maintenance of the Food Safety Management System. Non-Conformance Control: Prepare reports, propose corrective/preventive actions, and open and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with relevant departments. Inspection and Release: Ensure compliance of finished products and raw materials by monitoring processes and quality standards. Quality Programs: Ensure implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, food safety regulations, and other applicable requirements. Analyses and Testing: Conduct physicochemical and sensory analyses and maintain related records; send samples to external laboratories and customers. Audits and Investigations: Conduct internal audits, monitor blocked/reworked products, and investigate customer service complaints. Traceability and Documentation: Provide records and documents as required. Safety and Sustainability: Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), comply with internal standards, and support sustainability culture and social, environmental, and health policies. Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels of finished products and raw materials. **What Will Make You Successful?** Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering/Technology, Chemistry, or related fields. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ease of use with digital tools. Interpersonal Skills: Clear and effective communication, with strong teamwork abilities. Organization and Planning: Ability to structure tasks, prioritize demands, and maintain focus on deadlines.
