**TownSq** is hiring!!
We are looking for a **Senior QA Engineer** to join our global operation! You will be responsible for ensuring software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle, performing manual and automated testing, defining test strategies, and validating distributed systems in a microservices architecture.
You will work **collaboratively with engineering teams, autonomously and with a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring highly reliable deliveries.**
**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:**
• Plan, define, and execute test strategies (manual and automated);
• Create, write, and maintain clear and structured test scenarios (BDD, Gherkin, or similar);
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end (E2E) tests;
• Validate integrations between microservices and distributed workflows;
• Test and validate REST APIs;
• Analyze logs and monitor applications using CloudWatch;
• Validate asynchronous workflows using messaging (SQS);
• Configure and use test environments with Docker and Docker Compose;
• Identify, document, and track defects;
• Collaborate with development teams to continuously improve quality processes;
• Independently identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
**What we expect from you:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
• Experience in Software Quality: manual and automated testing;
• Proficiency in test types: unit, integration, regression, functional, and E2E;
• Familiarity with microservices architecture;
• Experience with REST API testing;
• Experience writing test scenarios (BDD, Gherkin, or similar);
• Experience with AWS, especially SQS and CloudWatch.
**You’ll stand out if you have:**
• Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose;
• Experience with: API Gateway, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and/or RDS, and SNS;
• Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
