Job Summary: Design and implement projects, organizing and executing activities to comply with regulatory standards and customer requirements, while supervising teams to ensure technically valid results. Supervise work teams and operational activities within the analyst’s area of expertise to guarantee technically valid outcomes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform technical analysis of materials, conducting quality controls, tests, and analyses in accordance with standardized methodologies * Ensure test results are issued accurately and clearly, as required by applicable standards * Develop, verify, and/or validate analytical methods, adhering to official protocols * Plan operational capacity, including procurement of supplies, equipment, and services * Perform duties impartially * Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained or generated during laboratory activities * Schedule and participate in audits * Promote optimization of process flows * Define material and equipment specifications * Define equipment calibration/qualification points * Monitor operation of equipment and instruments within the analyst’s area of expertise * Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans, as well as calibration programs for equipment in the analyst’s area of expertise * Control, perform, and/or supervise adjustment, calibration, and verification of equipment and instruments * Support compliance with legal and/or institutional requirements * Organize, plan, and execute departmental activities to meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and ensure optimal departmental operation * Design and implement commercial proposals, projects, training programs, and technological research within the analyst’s area of expertise * Provide consultancy and technical advisory services for issues requiring problem-solving solutions * Support the decision-making process and strategy definition for the analyst’s area of expertise * Promote improvements within the analyst’s area of expertise, aiming to enhance performance indicators and increase workflow efficiency * Support consolidation of statistical data to update the Unit’s performance indicators * Supervise work teams during operational execution of activities within the analyst’s area of expertise * Support, guide, and supervise laboratory activities, processes, and operations carried out * Provide technical support to Units/Departments, supplying information and clarifying questions related to the analyst’s area of expertise * Monitor and evaluate service delivery by external service providers * Perform and maintain records related to activities * Execute operational and/or administrative routines * Draft and/or revise documents within the analyst’s area of expertise * Ensure proper maintenance of departmental/Unit records to safeguard data traceability * Identify, record, and address non-conformities and risks, implementing corrective, preventive, and improvement actions * Record and consolidate statistical data to update the Unit’s performance indicators * Act as an authorized signatory, signing technical documents, issuing technical opinions, interpretations, and/or evaluations of results where applicable * Respond technically to customer inquiries * Perform other duties compatible with the position **Requirements and Qualifications** **Job Requirements** **(All requirements must be described in the candidate’s resume)** * Completed undergraduate degree in Food Science and/or Chemistry and/or Biology and/or Pharmacy and/or Biochemistry and/or Biomedicine * Active registration with the relevant professional council * Driver’s license category "B" * Minimum 6 months of experience in food analysis laboratory activities, specifically in microbiology and/or physicochemical analysis * Availability to work on weekends * Position located in Goiânia -
