Description
The role of the pedagogy intern is to provide direct support to the practitioner (the professional responsible for service delivery), especially for clients/students who exhibit interfering behaviors (self-injury, aggression toward others, or difficulty engaging).
The intern must act as a support, ensuring that services and pedagogical activities occur in an organized, safe, and educationally and therapeutically goal-aligned manner.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in preventing and managing interfering behaviors
Reinforce instructions, activities, and interventions delivered by the responsible professional
Provide physical support or redirect the student when necessary, always in an ethical, careful, and respectful manner
Organize the environment and materials to facilitate implementation of planned activities
Serve as a model of appropriate behavior and contribute to the generalization of pedagogical and behavioral skills
Support the delivery of educational, didactic, and student-profile-adapted activities
This role is especially important when the student is still acquiring foundational repertoires, early academic skills, and exhibits interfering behaviors
Compensation: R$577.15 \- R$800.00 per month
