And this is only the beginning. **Work on systems that process real financial operations — with high availability, high transaction volume, and stringent reliability requirements. Specifically:** * Develop and evolve .NET services powering the Payment Processor’s platform, responsible for transaction processing, system integrations, and financial services; * Implement financial processing features such as transaction lifecycle management, cards, authorizations, settlement, reconciliation, and other platform components; * Build distributed integrations using messaging systems, ensuring resilience, idempotency, and operational reliability; * Contribute to evolving the platform’s architecture, following established standards and software development best practices; * Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design alongside the Engineering team; * Contribute to improving application observability using OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and similar tools; * Collaborate with the team to continuously improve code quality, documentation, and development processes. **What we expect from you** **Essential:** * Proven experience with modern **C# and .NET** (.NET 8+, ideally; familiarity with .NET 10 is a plus) * Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and system-to-system integrations * Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) and concepts such as idempotency, retry mechanisms, and asynchronous processing * Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, SQS, and S3 * **Relational databases** (MySQL/SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar) * Real-world adherence to best practices: Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, writing actual tests, and proficient Git usage * Prior experience with financial processing platforms, payment methods, cards, digital accounts, or other transactional financial products **Nice-to-have (not mandatory but valuable):** * Knowledge of card processing and financial transaction lifecycle * Experience with authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, or reversals * Exposure to card issuers, acquirers, card networks (brands), or payment processors * Experience with Node.js, Nest.js, or React * Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) applied to complex domains * Knowledge of Step Functions, EventBridge, or other orchestration tools * Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or other observability tools ### **What’s it like working at Skopia?** Here, you’ll find an environment guided daily by Results, Creativity, Pragmatism, Commitment, Authority, and Performance.
