And this is only the beginning. **Work on systems that process real financial operations — with high availability, large transaction volumes, and stringent reliability requirements. Specifically:** * Build and evolve .NET services supporting the Payment Processor’s platform, responsible for transaction processing, system integrations, and financial services; * Model domains related to financial processing — such as transaction lifecycle, cards, authorizations, settlement, reconciliation, and other platform components; * Work with resilient distributed integrations using Kafka, messaging, idempotency, retry, saga, and outbox patterns; * Evolve the platform architecture by decoupling business rules, standardizing service contracts, and strengthening internal and external integrations; * Participate in architectural decisions alongside the Engineering team, proposing standards, ADRs, and continuous improvements; * Help elevate observability using OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and end-to-end operation tracing; * Support less-experienced colleagues through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. **What we expect from you** **Essential:** * Proven experience with modern **C# and .NET** (.NET 8+, ideally; ability to read .NET 10+ code); * Solid understanding of REST API design, microservices, and synchronous vs. asynchronous communication patterns; * Hands-on experience with **messaging systems** — Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar — and related patterns (outbox, saga, idempotency); * Comfort working with **AWS** at a practitioner level (Lambda, ECS, SQS, S3, etc.); * Experience with relational databases (MySQL/SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar); * Real-world application of best practices: Clean Architecture, SOLID, writing actual tests, and solid Git usage; * Prior experience with financial processing platforms, payment methods, cards, digital accounts, or other transactional financial products. **Nice-to-have (not mandatory, but valuable):** * Knowledge of card processing and financial transaction lifecycles; * Experience with authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, or reversals; * Exposure to card issuers, acquirers, card networks (brands), or payment processors; * Experience with Node.js, Nest.js, or React; * Experience with Step Functions, EventBridge, or equivalent orchestrators; * Domain-Driven Design (DDD) applied to complex domains; * OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or other modern observability stacks; * Experience in small teams where technical decisions have direct impact. ### **What’s it like to work at Skopia?** Here, you’ll find an environment guided daily by Result, Creativity, Pragmatism, Commitment, Authority, and Performance.
