Job Summary: Inspect pharmaceutical activities, analyze drug interactions, dispense materials, and provide technical guidance to ensure process control and pharmaceutical care. Key Highlights: 1. Technical training and multidisciplinary collaboration Inspect pharmacy activities, analyzing drug interactions prescribed by physicians, verifying medication name, dosage regimen, dosage strength, dose, pharmaceutical form, and cross-checking patient prescriptions; inspect material and medication dispensing; provide technical guidance regarding medications to ensure pharmaceutical care and process control. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Triage and evaluate medical prescriptions based on prescribed dosage regimens; * Supervise staff during clinical routines, supporting processes to ensure their proper execution; * Assist in the development of the pharmacovigilance committee; * Actively participate in the pharmacovigilance committee to ensure implementation of established routines; * Evaluate medical prescriptions to prevent drug interactions through pharmacotherapeutic analysis; * Conduct double-check procedures to ensure patient safety; * Supervise daily medication restocking to improve replenishment time for consumed medications; * Forecast stock consumption to ensure supply of materials and medications for the facility; * Participate in inventory counts, verifying all stock items for accurate accounting; * Maintain control and documentation of medications regulated under Ordinance No. 344/98, as required by regulatory authorities; * Collect, consolidate, and develop indicators for process evaluation; * Conduct technical training sessions and meetings for the team to enhance their competence in area-specific processes and thereby improve pharmaceutical care delivery; * Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on technical guidance; * Provide, upon request, necessary documentation for submission to the Regional Pharmacy Council; * Participate in various institutional committees and administrative meetings addressing matters relevant to the pharmacist's area of responsibility; * Develop and update the manual of standards and routines for the area of responsibility to ensure work quality; * Perform other related duties as needed or at the supervisor’s discretion; **Exclusive Activities – Hospitals** * Analyze parenteral nutrition prescriptions, verifying whether the prescribed volume aligns with the patient’s actual needs to optimize nutritional therapy. * Analyze medication prescriptions for pharmaceutical incompatibilities and drug interactions; * Perform medication reconciliation upon patient admission, transfer, and hospital discharge; * Provide discharge instructions to patients and caregivers regarding access to medications through the public health network; * Join the multidisciplinary team during bed rounds, advising professionals on available medication therapies and related medication safety practices; * Supervise medication compounding and repackaging; * Support the multidisciplinary team in pharmacovigilance and technovigilance activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Pharmacy; * Active Regional Pharmacy Council (CRF) registration; * Knowledge of customer service, pharmaceutical care, people management, and intermediate-level computer skills. * Prior experience in the field is desirable. Unit II of the Complex — designated for Backup Beds and Observation Beds \- located at Rua Helvetia, 55 – Campos Elíseos neighborhood \- São Paulo.
