**Job Description:** ---------------------- Conduct quotation and negotiation of materials and services with international suppliers, seeking the best conditions in terms of price, delivery time, and quality. Analyze and evaluate the technical and commercial characteristics of products, ensuring they meet required quality and engineering standards. Monitor the import process of raw materials and products, including freight and customs clearance. Control all transportation documentation and bureaucratic procedures related to imports. Develop and qualify new international suppliers, maintaining a strategic relationship with the existing supplier base. Manage expectations of internal and external clients by clearly communicating the complexity and timelines of international procurement processes. Collaborate with other departments (finance, production, tax, among others) to ensure integration and efficiency in international procurement. Stay updated on market trends, customs regulations, and foreign trade rules. Identify opportunities for improvement in procurement and international logistics processes. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Proven experience in the role of International Buyer or Buyer of Imported Raw Materials. In-depth knowledge of import processes, international logistics, Incoterms, and customs clearance. Experience with ERP systems Advanced negotiation and communication skills, focused on results. Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Postgraduate degree or specialization courses in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, or International Negotiation. **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Knowledge of languages other than English will be an advantage.
