The "Development" area is responsible for developing outstanding management software. Your main objectives are to develop solutions that deliver results for our customers, with speed, quality, and ease of use. As a Development Intern, you will work alongside our team to build new features in Nomus's management software. This is an exceptional learning opportunity—you will gain substantial hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, and CSS, and you will see the real-world impact of your work. The initial stipend for a 30-hour-per-week schedule ranges from R$ 1\.800,00 to R$ 3\.600,00, depending on prior experience. During your internship, you may advance through levels 1 to 6 based on quarterly performance evaluations; each level promotion comes with an increase in your internship stipend. As an intern at Nomus, you will be prepared for full-time employment as a Nomus Developer as soon as possible—respecting the time required for your academic development while maintaining balance in your personal life. Upon becoming a full-time Nomus Developer, you will progress along a career path with Junior, Mid-level, Senior, and Master levels. Career progression as a Developer depends on quarterly performance evaluations; each promotion brings a raise in base compensation and increasingly challenging responsibilities. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What will your role be at Nomus?** --------------------------------- Your role at Nomus will include: * Developing new features outlined in the product roadmap using Java, JavaScript, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, and CSS. * Writing unit tests using JUnit. * Resolving adjustments and fixes. * Supporting support and implementation teams on development-related issues. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What profile does Nomus seek?** ---------------------------------------- We are looking for someone who: * Is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, Systems Analysis, or related fields, starting from the 3rd semester. * Is available to intern 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling. * Demonstrates initiative, eagerness to learn, and commitment. * Has at least intermediate-level English proficiency (reading and writing). * We accept candidates from all over Brazil. Candidates residing in Rio de Janeiro will work under a hybrid model.
