**Job Description:** The role of the Pedagogy intern is to provide direct support to the practitioner (the professional responsible for service delivery), especially for clients/students exhibiting interfering behaviors (e.g., self-injury, aggression toward others, or difficulty engaging). As a support staff member, the intern must ensure that services and educational activities proceed in an organized, safe, and goal-aligned manner—consistent with both educational and therapeutic objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in preventing and managing interfering behaviors * Reinforce instructions, activities, and interventions delivered by the responsible professional * Provide physical assistance or redirection to the student when necessary, always ethically, carefully, and respectfully * Organize the environment and materials to facilitate implementation of planned activities * Serve as a model of appropriate behavior and contribute to generalization of pedagogical and behavioral skills * Support delivery of educational, didactic, and student-profile-adapted activities This role is especially important when the student is still acquiring foundational repertoires, early academic skills, and exhibits interfering behaviors.
