Ensure individualized, continuous, and safe patient treatment and contribute to rapid patient recovery and follow-up according to their therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide daily nursing care to patients within the care pathway under your responsibility, including: vital signs monitoring, preparation and administration of medications, nursing assessments, feeding, hygiene, wound dressings, repositioning, implementation of systematic nursing care, etc.; * Daily coordinate urgent and emergency care with speed, accuracy, and agility, ensuring the emergency cart is stocked with necessary medications, equipment appropriate for each scenario, and qualified personnel to treat patients at risk of death; * Daily guide nurses, nursing technicians, and nursing assistants regarding complex patients—covering pathology and clinical status—to ensure high-quality care and contribute to rapid patient recovery; * Weekly evaluate progress notes prepared by third parties, nursing prescriptions, and procedures performed, focusing on quality of nursing care; * Daily coordinate patient admission activities, reception, monitoring via medical devices, oxygen therapy, and medication administration per physician prescription, vital signs data control, laboratory sample collection, etc.; * Contribute to controlling materials and medications required for unit operations. Maintain all equipment in perfect working condition and promptly forward damaged items for maintenance; * Daily optimize and expedite patient examinations to obtain timely results; * Accompany specific medical procedures such as central catheter insertion, drains, urinary catheters, etc.; * Inform the unit physician of patient complications, including changes in blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate, and other parameters; * Collaborate with the medical team in patient care: prepare vasoactive drugs, assist in invasive procedures (e.g., chest tube drainage, thoracentesis, central venous access puncture), perform upper airway suctioning, prepare medications, and position patients during orotracheal intubation performed by the physician; * Jointly analyze with Continuing Education and the Inpatient Unit Nurse clinical, performance, and process indicators, propose solutions, and set goals to align indicators with targets; * Participate, as requested, in meetings related to institutional quality certification, acting as an effective communicator and multiplier of information and guidelines; * Weekly manage/participate in the goal-planning activities of clinical units where your patients are located, during multidisciplinary meetings to define goals and improvement actions aligned with the institution’s strategic plan; * Participate in committees and groups per criteria established by immediate supervisors, such as: EMTN, SCIH, Surgical Center Collegiate Board, SESMT, biosafety, reprocessing, hemoderivatives; * Provide pre- and post-operative guidance to patients and families, when applicable; * Actively participate daily in the Rapid Response Team within your units; * Attend periodic meetings with Nursing Supervision, Coordination, and Division for decision-making and information sharing; * Ensure daily Kanban updates; * Perform other duties pertinent to the role. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; * Postgraduate specialization in the area of practice is desirable (e.g., Internal Medicine, Surgical Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Surgical Center); * Active COREN registration. **Additional Information** For this opportunity, our **salary range** is R$ 6\.471,00 to R$ 6\.771,00 \+ 20% Hazard Pay. **Benefits:** Transportation allowance or parking, meal allowance, life insurance, and childcare assistance (per collective labor agreement). **Work Schedule:** Rotating 6x1 afternoon shift from 13:00 to 19:00\. **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, federally, state, and municipally recognized as being of public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 of 03/04/1966, 40\.103 of 05/17/1962, and 8\.911 of 07/30/1970\. Residents of Vila Maria Baixa and Parque Novo Mundo, led by regional municipal councilors, engaged in numerous negotiations with the Municipal Health Department to construct a hospital addressing regional demand. The resulting facility—nicknamed “Vila Maria”—was built with expectations of high-resolution capacity and performance. It was named after influential regional politician Councilman José Storopolli, whose family donated the land for construction. However, from its inauguration in 1992 until July 1994, its Surgical Center remained inactive, as did its surgical ward, orthopedics department, and Intensive Care Unit.
