




Job Summary: The Reception Assistant will provide operational support to the team, ensuring courteous and efficient guest service and organizing front office activities. Key Highlights: 1. Dynamic environment with direct public interaction. **Job Mission** Provide operational support to the reception team, ensuring courteous and efficient guest service, contributing to excellence in accommodation services and organization of front office activities. **Main Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist with in-person, telephone, and email guest service, providing information about hotel services. * Perform **pre-check-in**, verify reservations, and assist with the **check-in** and **check-out** processes. * Monitor guest requests and forward them to the responsible departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, etc.). * Organize documents, registration forms, contracts, and other reception-related forms. * Enter basic information into the hotel system, as instructed by the team. * Assist with control of magnetic key cards and other reception materials. * Support the organization of the lobby and guest welcome areas. * Monitor and relay guest messages, notes, and correspondence. * Contribute to adherence to quality standards, internal policies, and hotel operational procedures. * Provide support during peak occupancy periods or events, offering general administrative assistance. **Job RequirementsEducation** * Completed high school education. * Technical course or additional training in Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields is desirable. **Experience** * Prior customer service experience is desirable but not mandatory. * Experience in the hospitality industry will be considered a plus. **Knowledge and Skills** * Basic computer literacy and familiarity with management systems. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Organizational ability and attention to detail. * Agility, proactivity, and willingness to learn. * Basic public service orientation. * Basic knowledge of a foreign language (English or Spanish) is desirable. **Behavioral Competencies** * Empathy and courtesy * Teamwork * Flexibility and adaptability * Professional demeanor * Problem-solving * Responsibility and ethics **Working Conditions** * Shift work schedule defined by management (6 days on, 1 day off). * Reception environment with direct interaction with guests and the general public.
