The Junior Event Setup Assistant is responsible for organizing, setting up, and dismantling event rooms and spaces according to work orders and each client's specifications. Key responsibilities include arranging furniture and audiovisual equipment, supervising external vendors' setups, replenishing service items such as coffee and water, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of all used areas. The role also requires providing direct on-site support to clients during events, ensuring courteous and efficient service, and communicating\-with other hotel departments to guarantee all requirements are met with quality and punctuality. * Organizing event rooms, and setting up or dismantling them according to internal work orders; * Serving internal and external customers; * Providing courteous and professional service to clients and guests, answering questions and resolving issues as needed. * Replenishing services contracted by the client (e.g., water, coffee, petit fours). * Supervising third-party setup and dismantling activities. * Organizing and setting up designated event areas, including meeting rooms, banquet halls, and outdoor spaces. * Configuring furniture, audiovisual equipment, and other items per client specifications and hotel guidelines. * Communicating\-effectively with other departments, such as operational supervisors, maintenance, and housekeeping, to ensure all needs are fulfilled. * Maintaining items in good condition and reporting any maintenance or replacement requirements. * Supporting clients during event moments. * Keeping support rooms clean and organized. * Vacuuming carpeted rooms. * Distributing and replenishing coffee in the hotel’s operational and administrative departments.
