GMUD Tecnologia is seeking a professional with solid experience as a Remote Access & Network Security Consultant to work on strategic projects. Experience covering remote access technologies (VPN, secure remote connectivity) and network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, enforcement of access policies). The role involves supporting operational governance, monitoring access, handling exceptions, and preparing audit evidence during the transition period. Behaviorally, the professional must demonstrate strong security awareness, accuracy, and the ability to balance access needs with risk control. Administer and support secure remote access solutions, ensuring stable and protected connectivity for internal and external users. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, proxies, gateways, and network security solutions. Ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and information security best practices. Support security incident response processes, log analysis, and investigation of unauthorized access. Collaborate with infrastructure, SOC, networking, and support teams to resolve incidents and continuously improve services. Monitor availability, performance, and capacity of remote access and network security services. Support audits, compliance controls, and reviews of user access and privileges. Prepare operational reports, metrics, and technical documentation related to remote access and network security environments. Participate in projects implementing and improving secure connectivity and network protection solutions. Ensure adherence to Information Technology Service Management, Cybersecurity, and corporate security framework best practices. Certifications in security or networking are desirable; a degree in IT, security, or equivalent experience is required. Fluent English is mandatory due to international interaction and daily meetings with the client in Canada.
