We seek **a Packaging Development Coordinator** to join our Product & Innovation Brazil team, working across the full innovation cycle: **from insight to delivery, with strong analytical thinking, broad knowledge, and execution capability.**
This role is for someone who can spot opportunities **before they become obvious**, build compelling product narratives, and consistently manage day-to-day operations.### **Your day-to-day responsibilities:**
* Lead planning and development of packaging for new products, ensuring technical feasibility, quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
* Research and propose packaging solutions, materials, and formats, evaluating alternatives available in both domestic and international markets.
* Develop and manage packaging suppliers, including mold development oversight, prospecting, negotiation, and internal cross-functional approval.
* Request samples, quotations, and technical specifications from suppliers, evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions.
* Negotiate costs, development timelines, and commercial terms—especially with international suppliers.
* Manage packaging development projects from initial briefing through production implementation, ensuring alignment among all involved departments.
* Support packaging testing and validation alongside Quality, Production, and suppliers, ensuring materials meet technical requirements.
* Ensure accurate definition and verification of packaging technical specifications, guaranteeing compliance with production requirements.
* Support the Quality department by providing necessary technical information for documentation and technical datasheets.
* Monitor packaging material testing and approvals on pilot lines or in production processes.
* Track project progress and keep all stakeholders updated on deadlines, milestones, and potential risks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of packaging solutions, pursuing cost efficiency, quality, and technical innovation.
* Meet department-defined KPIs and targets.

### **What we’re looking for:**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Product Design, Cosmetics Technology, or related fields.
* Knowledge of metrology and technical specifications for materials.
* Supplier negotiation skills, including cost and timeline analysis.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Advanced or fluent English, with written and verbal communication capability for interactions with international suppliers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience in technical development of molds and primary/secondary packaging.
* Experience managing packaging or product development projects, overseeing stages from concept through production implementation.
* Experience in supplier prospecting, qualification, and management.
