**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
Ensure compliance with hygiene, occupational health and safety, and environmental procedures by inspecting all company areas to guarantee employees’ physical integrity.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Promote and enforce applicable Brazilian legislation, and apply and develop corporate and customer audit management activities related to safety and environment;
* Identify risks through job process risk analyses and assist in implementing control measures;
* Develop work plans enabling preventive action to resolve issues related to Health, Safety and Environment;
* Conduct periodic inspections of work environments and conditions to identify risks to workers’ safety and health, proposing solutions and monitoring their implementation;
* Coordinate work performed by contracted companies, inspecting equipment/tools, performing operational risk analysis, integrating contractors, and monitoring task execution;
* Develop, deliver, and refresh training programs aimed at achieving full understanding and commitment from all employees regarding Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ);
* Evaluate and approve personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE) following user testing, conduct training on proper usage, document compliance, and ensure consistent use;
* Train, refresh, and manage Emergency Response Teams (e.g., Fire Brigades), oversee maintenance and inspection of firefighting equipment, ensuring system effectiveness and compliance with safety requirements;
* Conduct safety campaigns focused on accident prevention (e.g., SIPAT, Guardian Angel Program, Global Hand Injury Prevention Campaign);
* Provide technical support to CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) members;
* Ensure and monitor implementation of actions under the PGR (Risk Management Program);
* File Work Accident Reports (CAT) in case of workplace injuries, providing required information to HR;
* Prepare and submit monthly statistical reports and studies on accidents/incidents;
* Perform activities related to Health, Safety and Environment;
* Attend CIPA meetings, Safety Committees, area evacuation drills, and review accident, incident and environmental indicators;
* Collaborate with HR to schedule mandatory trainings specified in Regulatory Standards (NRs), coordinating fire brigade training and forklift operator refresher courses;
* Accompany injured employees or service providers to emergency care;
* Investigate workplace accidents/incidents;
* Monitor routine inspections and track permits, ensuring maintenance of AVCB (Fire Department Inspection Certificate);
* Lead 5S and GMP maintenance rounds.
* Know, understand and comply with company safety and quality standards;
* Ensure product safety through Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) implemented in the facility.
* Conduct Preliminary Risk Analyses for critical-risk and non-routine activities;
* Manage the Rainbow platform (third-party documentation) or equivalent platform contracted by Amcor or the customer;
* Participate in customer-established safety programs.
* Communicate and promote Amcor’s and the customer’s Life-Saving Rules to employees and service providers;
* Communicate and promote statistical performance data on Amcor’s or the customer’s HSSEQ tools and programs;
* Submit monthly reports on key Safety and Environmental indicators via official platforms.
* Ensure product safety through Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) implemented in the facility;
* Report any occurrence that may impact product safety or affect the quality management system
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
* Completed Technical Education
* Field: Occupational Safety
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable:
* Basic/Intermediate English and Spanish
* Technical Education in Environmental Management
Experience
* Experience in the field;
* Technical and practical knowledge of Regulatory Standards (Portaria 3214), especially NR01, NR04, NR05, NR06, NR07, NR09, NR10, NR11, NR12, NR13, NR15, NR16, NR17, NR18, NR20, NR23, NR24, NR25, NR26, NR33 and NR35;
* Knowledge of labor and environmental legislation;
* Technical and practical knowledge of current Fire Safety Regulations;
* Basic knowledge of Environmental Management;
* Proficiency in Accident/Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis methodologies;
* Knowledge of inspections for high-risk services;
* Proficiency in Preliminary Risk Analysis methodology;
