Infrastructure Coordinator (SysOps)

Description

We are seeking a professional to serve as Infrastructure Coordinator (SysOps) to lead the operation and evolution of the technology infrastructure, ensuring availability, stability, security, and efficiency of corporate environments. This role will be with a technology company specializing in software development. The position will play a fundamental role in coordinating the infrastructure team, connecting people, processes, and technology to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational continuity. **Apply below!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operations, Continuity, and Technical Support * Coordinate the SysOps/Infrastructure team in managing servers, networks, storage, and backup environments. * Ensure availability, performance, and stability levels of production environments. * Plan and oversee monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity routines. * Manage hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud), supporting cost and capacity optimization initiatives. * Lead resolution of critical incidents (N2/N3), escalations, and on-call duties. * Support infrastructure migration, expansion, and modernization projects. * People Management * Lead, develop, and engage the team through 1:1 meetings, feedback sessions, performance evaluations, and individual development plans. * Promote technical and behavioral growth of the team, supporting career advancement and succession planning. * Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members. * Manage demand allocation, team capacity, scheduling, and on-call rotations. * Monitor team morale, engagement, and retention. * Collaborate with the Tech Leader to ensure alignment between technical decisions, people leadership, processes, and outcomes. * Process and Delivery Management * Manage and prioritize team demands, projects, and backlog. * Conduct routine management ceremonies such as dailies, planning sessions, and retrospectives. * Ensure compliance with ITSM processes, including incidents, problems, and changes. * Drive continuous improvement through post-mortems, root cause analysis, and lessons learned. * Maintain up-to-date documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base. * Governance, Vendors, and Strategy * Define and monitor infrastructure security policies jointly with Information Security. * Manage infrastructure vendors, contracts, and services. * Support budgetary management of the area (OPEX/CAPEX). * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, and LGPD. * Track operational metrics and report results to leadership. * Contribute to strategic planning, OKRs, and the infrastructure evolution roadmap. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We expect you to have** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or related fields. * Experience in leadership and people management. * Solid experience with: * Operating systems: Windows Server and Linux (advanced administration). * Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox. * Cloud: AWS, Azure, and OCI (infrastructure resource administration). * Networks: TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, and load balancing. * Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana/Prometheus, or Datadog. * Backup and disaster recovery: Veeam, Bacula, or equivalent solutions. * Automation: Ansible, Terraform, and scripting in PowerShell/Bash. * Security and identity: Active Directory, access policies, patch management, and corporate antivirus. * ITSM: ticket and change management tools (e.g., Zendesk). **It will be a plus if you have** * ITIL Foundation certification. * Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. * Virtualization certifications, such as VMware VCP. * Networking certifications, such as Cisco CCNA. * Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to operations, automation, and process improvement. * Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost governance. * Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices. **Additionally, we consider the following competencies important:** * Situational leadership, adapting management style according to team maturity and needs. * Operational organization and discipline in highly critical environments. * Ability to maintain balance and make decisions during crisis situations. * Clear and objective communication with technical teams and leadership. * Sense of urgency coupled with impact and risk assessment. * Business continuity and operational resilience mindset. * Collaboration with Security, DevOps, Development, and Support areas. * Accountability for departmental outcomes. * Ability to develop people, delegate responsibilities, and foster autonomy. * Continuous improvement and innovation mindset. **Additional Information** **Employment Type:** CLT + Benefits **Work Format:** Remote **Benefits:** * Fully covered health insurance for the employee;
