**Responsibilities and Duties**
Key Responsibilities
* Construction Management;
* + Plan, coordinate, and control all phases of highway construction projects, including restoration, expansion, paving, safety devices, drainage, and various civil works;
+ Ensure activities align with executive designs, technical standards, and regulatory requirements;
+ Monitor physical and financial schedules, proposing corrective actions to ensure deadlines and quality;
+ Conduct periodic technical inspections and issue progress reports;
* Team Management and Leadership;
* + Lead and guide multidisciplinary teams (in-house and contracted), promoting a collaborative, high-performance environment;
+ Assign responsibilities, monitor results, and ensure achievement of operational targets;
+ Implement technical training and occupational safety practices;
+ Proactively resolve conflicts and support strategic decision-making;
* Contract and Supplier Management;
* + Monitor and supervise contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring contractual compliance and satisfactory performance;
+ Perform measurements, validate reports, and analyze price adjustments and contract amendments;
+ Participate in procurement processes, scope development, and technical evaluation of proposals;
* Institutional Relations
* + Maintain positive, transparent relationships with public agencies, regulatory bodies, local communities, and other stakeholders.
+ Attend technical meetings with ANTT (or applicable regulatory agency), presenting project progress and addressing regulatory requirements as needed.
+ Support internal and external communication regarding impacts, deviations, and traffic releases.
* Safety, Quality, and Environment
* + Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
+ Support internal and external audits (ISO and concessionaire requirements).
+ Identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
+ Promote a safety culture in the workplace.
+ Supervise, monitor, and validate contractor adherence to the concessionaire’s safety manual.

**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with active CREA registration).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Prior experience in infrastructure projects, preferably highways or linear works;
* Experience managing teams, contracts, and contractors;
* Knowledge of planning methodologies (MS Project, Primavera, etc.);
**Desirable Knowledge**
* Applicable technical standards for paving, earthworks, drainage, retaining structures, and special civil works;
* Knowledge of legislation and practices of highway concessionaires;
* Proficiency in analysis and reporting tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD);
* Basic understanding of road safety and highway operations.
