Network and Infrastructure Consultant

Description

Objective Hiring a specialized network and infrastructure consultant to lead a server environment migration project, including planning, implementation of a new infrastructure architecture, firewall configuration, and review of security policies, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational continuity. Key Responsibilities * Conduct assessment and diagnosis of the current infrastructure. * Plan and execute the migration of the server environment to a new infrastructure. * Design and implement the network architecture according to the company's requirements. * Configure, review, and optimize firewalls, access policies, and security measures. * Configure and validate networks, VLANs, VPNs, routing, NAT, DNS, and other infrastructure services. * Ensure data integrity and service continuity throughout the entire migration process. * Perform performance, availability, and security testing after deployment. * Document the entire implemented infrastructure, including topology, configurations, and operational procedures. * Support internal teams during the transition and stabilization of the environment. Technical Requirements * Proven experience in network infrastructure and server environment migration projects. * Advanced knowledge of: * TCP/IP networking; * VLANs; * VPN (remote access and site\-to\-site); * Routing; * NAT; * DNS and DHCP; * Enterprise firewalls; * Network security and server hardening. * Experience with virtualized environments. * Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery (Disaster Recovery), and high availability. * Ability to identify risks, propose improvements, and execute infrastructure projects with a focus on security and stability.
