This role involves developing backend solutions that connect various business endpoints—processing mobile app transactions, integrating financial systems, card processors, Salesforce, POS terminals, and other corporate platforms. The challenge entails building secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available solutions—with emphasis on performance, technical quality, and integration across critical systems. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Developing, maintaining, and evolving backend applications using **Java**. * Building, optimizing, and sustaining APIs and microservices that support financial operations and corporate integrations. * Implementing and consuming secure, scalable, and architecturally compliant **RESTful APIs**. * Integrating the mobile application with financial systems, card processors, Salesforce, POS terminals, and other internal and external systems. * Contributing to the design and maintenance of decoupled, resilient, and scalability-oriented microservices. * Working with relational and non-relational databases to ensure data performance, consistency, and security. * Applying software engineering best practices—including unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and technical quality assurance. * Working with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and modern application support tools. * Participating in agile ceremonies, technical refinements, and architectural discussions. * Collaborating with Product Owners, architects, developers, and partner teams to build the best technical solutions for the business. **What you need:** * Experience as a **Backend Java Developer**. * Practical experience with microservice architecture. * Experience designing and consuming **RESTful APIs**. * Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architecture, such as **Kafka, RabbitMQ**, or similar technologies. * Experience with relational databases such as **PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle**. * Familiarity with non-relational databases such as **MongoDB** or similar. * Experience with unit and integration testing. * Hands-on experience with **CI/CD pipelines**, using tools like **Jenkins, Bitbucket**, or similar. * Knowledge of containers such as **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Solid understanding of security, performance, scalability, and backend development best practices. * A collaborative, communicative profile focused on solution quality and resilience. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Prior experience in the financial sector, fintechs, payment methods, cards, credit, or transactional flows. * Knowledge of bank reconciliation, acquirer integrations, processor integrations, or regulated systems. * Experience integrating with **Dock**. * Familiarity with cryptography, tokenization, and financial security best practices. * Experience integrating with **Salesforce** or POS systems. * Experience building enterprise service buses, corporate integrations, or exposing data to CRMs and internal systems.
