Description
* Responsible for providing technical support to computer network users, including assembling, repairing, and configuring equipment related to the use of available hardware and software;
* Install and administer Windows;
* Perform maintenance on computers, hardware, and software, and provide support in troubleshooting issues;
* Prepare and manage hardware inventory, tracking purchase invoices, maintenance contracts, and warranty periods;
* Train users on available applications and provide support in resolving problems;
* Participate in the evaluation process of new software and in the procurement process of software and applications; develop small programs to improve user\-support interface;
* Perform equipment maintenance and preservation;
* Responsible for executing backups and other data security procedures; create and implement access restriction and network usage procedures, such as passwords, drive removal, etc.;
* Responsible for installing software upgrades and performing other adaptations and modifications to enhance equipment performance;
* Participate in the analysis of computer parts, accessories, and materials requiring specification or configuration; prepare technical work progress reports;
* Develop procedures and manuals according to company guidelines;
* Prepare management information reports requested by management;
* Operate the vehicle used for activities efficiently and safely;
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and properly use personal and collective protective equipment;
* Organize and maintain the departmental file system for document storage and easy reference;
* Commit to the areas of quality management, environmental management, and occupational safety;
* Perform other tasks related to those described above, as determined by the organization and under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
