The PCM Analyst (Planning and Control of Maintenance) is responsible for coordinating and executing activities related to the planning, scheduling, and control of preventive and corrective maintenance. In addition, they manage performance indicators, analyze failures, and optimize maintenance processes. This professional plays a fundamental role in ensuring the availability and reliability of the company's equipment and facilities.
* Develop and update the preventive maintenance plan for equipment, considering the criticality and usage frequency of each item.
* Plan and schedule corrective maintenance activities, ensuring the availability of required resources.
* Monitor the execution of maintenance work orders, tracking adherence to deadlines and service quality.
* Analyze maintenance performance indicators, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing corrective and preventive actions.
* Participate in meetings with production and engineering departments to align maintenance requirements with operational needs.
* Manage spare parts and materials used in maintenance, ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely replenishment.
* Develop and maintain up-to-date operational procedures for the PCM area, aiming to standardize activities and ensure service quality.
* Perform equipment failure analysis, identifying root causes and proposing actions to prevent recurrence.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects within the maintenance area, seeking to increase process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* Stay updated on new technologies and market trends in maintenance, striving to apply best practices in daily operations.
