More than just vehicles travel our roads—we connect people and energize freight transportation across some of the country’s most important economic corridors. **Responsibilities and Duties** As an **ENGINEER II \- ASSET MANAGEMENT**, your responsibilities will include: Strategically developing annual and monthly maintenance and construction plans; Monitoring asset-related activities to ensure reliability, traceability, and information quality; Overseeing contracted services and verifying adherence to the department’s technical and budgetary strategies, ensuring contractual compliance and operational efficiency; Consolidating, processing, and analyzing technical and operational databases, transforming data into managerial reports and strategic analyses to support decision-making; Developing, structuring, and monitoring KPIs and technical indicators using dashboards and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI), promoting data-driven management; Providing technical support for engineering works and services procurement processes, including scope definition, proposal analysis, and establishment of technical criteria; Developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for OAEs (Special Art Structures), embankments, EPS (Earth Retention Systems), and OACs (Civil Art Structures); Resolving operational technical issues through root cause identification, impact analysis, and implementation of the most appropriate solution; Leading a technical inspection team providing operational technical support and fostering technical and behavioral competency development; Managing contracts through meetings with suppliers, internal and external clients, and teams, with emphasis on ensuring safety, quality, scope, cost, and schedule compliance.
