Knowledge of CAM/Nesting software such as TruTops and SigmaNEST **Main Activities and Responsibilities:** * **File Creation/Conversion:** Convert technical drawings (PDF, images, 3D) into 2D DXF files at a 1:1 scale\. * **Cutting Optimization (Nesting):** Arrange parts on sheets to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. * **Geometry Cleaning:** Remove duplicate, overlapping, or open lines in AutoCAD or similar programs to prevent cutting errors. * **Parameter Definition:** Define cutting sequences, drilling, power settings, and speeds on the machine. * **Sheet Metal Modeling:** Unfold 3D parts (SolidWorks, Inventor) into 2D format. **Software Experience:** * **CAD (Drafting):** AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, Fusion 360, CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator. * **CAM/Nesting (Programming):** TruTops, BySoft, SigmaNEST, Radan, RDWorks.
