**Job Mission:**
Prepare patients for examinations; collect and process various biological specimens following procedures outlined in relevant documents; organize the work environment; wash and sterilize materials used in procedures to ensure sample quality for analysis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1\. Monitor refrigerator temperatures for immunobiologicals
2\. Register and order supplies via system
3\. Track batch numbers and expiration dates of inventory items and products
4\. Organize, separate, register, and store cytological specimens and biopsy samples
5\. Locate, label, evaluate, and enter cytology and biopsy results into the patient’s medical record
6\. Contact clients via communication channels regarding abnormal test results from medical offices at service centers
7\. Prepare allergy testing trays according to departmental standards
8\. Follow safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by job instructions and area-specific guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safety during task execution
9\. Comply with health surveillance regulations and procedures
10\. Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursing technical workbenches and medical offices, restocking supplies per checklist
11\. Clean and disinfect medical-hospital equipment per Institutional Protocol
12\. Perform patient reception and triage for medical appointments when implemented in the unit
13\. Wash, clean, and disinfect equipment in the decontamination area per institutional schedule and forward them to the Central Material Management (CME) Department at Unimed Hospital
14\. Regularly inspect solutions used in medical offices and replace or properly discard expired items
15\. Pursue frequent professional updates in the field of practice
16\. Attend courses and training sessions per individual development plan
17\. Participate in the Cooperative’s continuing education program
18\. Promote initiatives that foster and sustain a positive organizational climate
19\. Carry out activities related to one’s specific area of expertise, adhering to established guidelines and goals to ensure timely and accurate execution
20\. Respond to ombudsman channels per interdepartmental alignment
21\. Document nursing care provided in the patient’s medical record
22\. Forecast and manage consumable supplies needed in the unit, prioritizing quality
23\. Arrange technical equipment in medical offices according to specialty
24\. Manage nursing office supplies inventory for the unit
25\. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
26\. Train new staff members and physicians on workflows and routines
27\. Contribute to developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to one’s area of responsibility
28\. Assist physicians with specific procedures upon request
29\. Store, sort, label, and deliver intrauterine devices (IUDs) to medical offices per appointment schedule
30\. Value relationships with beneficiaries to build trust, affection, and respect
31\. Notify immediate supervisor regarding pest and vector control needs, equipment maintenance, or acquisition of new medical-hospital equipment
32\. Notify immediate supervisor upon identifying urgent or emergency situations
33\. Assist with ophthalmological examinations
34\. Assist with procedures in the minor surgery room
35\. Provide nursing assistance in the medication administration room
36\. Navigate patient care according to the therapeutic plan
37\. Perform other related duties consistent with operational unit responsibilities and nature of work, as directed by superiors
