Essential support in food pre-preparation and organization Job Description: * Clean the kitchen, including floors, countertops, equipment, and surfaces, ensuring workplace organization and hygiene according to sanitary standards; * Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware used during meal preparation and service, ensuring they are clean and readily available for continuous team use; * Assist cooks in food pre-preparation, including sanitation, cutting, portioning, and ingredient separation according to technical sheets and team instructions; * Label and identify portioned foods, following food safety regulations and shelf-life control guidelines; * Support pantry and cold room organization, assisting in proper storage of supplies and maintaining cleanliness in these areas; * Follow kitchen leadership instructions and collaborate with the team at all stages of operations, promoting a clean, safe, and efficient work environment; * Perform other duties compatible with the position, as required by the department; * Maintain an organized and sanitized workstation, adhering to established cleaning standards; * Comply with cold room access regulations, which permit entry only for the Chef and Sous Chef, requiring mandatory use of appropriate PPE; * Mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) — hairnet, apron, thermal gloves, disposable gloves, safety shoes, disposable mask; * Mandatory participation in standard operating procedure training for the area of responsibility, delivered via e-learning, in-person sessions, or as directed by management.
