Apply and monitor compliance with the legal practice of the profession, observing applicable legislation and the Nursing Professionals' Code of Ethics; 2\. Know and comply with clinical protocols, standards/routines, and nursing ITs; 3\. Monitor and analyze departmental indicators; 4\. Implement patient safety protocols; 5\. Participate in systematic hospital infection control; 6\. Hold team meetings whenever necessary; 7\. Perform other activities inherent to the area of responsibility, as requested by the immediate supervisor; 8\. Collaborate in the evaluation of standards and routines; 9\. Review nursing records and notes, signing and stamping them; 10\. Update the departmental indicator spreadsheet; 11\. Participate in occupational health and safety programs and accident prevention; 12\. Participate in the implementation of the Quality Management System within the area of responsibility; 13\. Suggest and participate in implementing work processes and technical procedures; 14\. Participate in institutional committees when requested; 15\. Monitor actions required to schedule internal examinations for patients in the unit; 16\. Provide necessary materials to enable the nursing team to perform their duties with quality; 17\. Be present in the assigned work area during scheduled hours, respecting institutional protocols; 18\. Ensure compliance with the Process Interaction Agreement; 19\. Immediately notify the immediate supervisor in cases of non-conformance; 20\. Respect sectoral regulatory instruments; 21\. Comply with and enforce labor legislation, external regulations and codes, internal regulations, and follow instructions contained in the Employee Handbook; 22\. Maintain rigorous ethical conduct and safeguard the ethical behavior of professionals in general; 23\. Know and monitor general departmental routines through forms, work instructions, and other documents. 24\. Interface with the Emergency Department team after medical evaluation of patients eligible for internal or external bed assignment; 25\. Assist the NIR team in defining, evaluating, and prioritizing patients for available internal or external bed assignments; 26\. Interface with the Transport Department for sending or receiving patients from the Emergency Department; 27\. Contribute to NIR development based on the responsibilities of the Nursing position; 28\. Determine which patients are admitted to ward beds or may be transferred to internal or external backup beds; 29\. Carry out tasks with a focus on continuous improvement of institutional processes, assisting with vacation, day-off, or emergency staffing coverage when necessary or requested by the immediate supervisor. 30\. Use resources (equipment, PPE, materials, and facilities) responsibly, immediately reporting any issues or changes to the supervisor and safeguarding institutional assets. 31\. Fully comply with the Integrity Code and the Institutional Service Excellence Standard. 32\.
