Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure Analyst to administer, support, and deploy Windows servers and infrastructure services in on-premises and hybrid environments.

This position is exclusively for a PJ (individual contractor) engagement model.
We seek a Mid-Level Infrastructure Analyst with strong experience in supporting, administering, and deploying physical and virtual Windows servers, focusing on corporate on\-premises and hybrid environments.
The professional will administer essential infrastructure services—including Active Directory, File Server, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and virtualization—ensuring availability, security, performance, and adherence to operational best practices.
**Responsibilities**
1\. Windows Server Administration and Support
* Administer physical and virtual Windows servers (Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022\).
* Support the environment by troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and applying corrective actions.
* Plan, execute, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
* Manage operating system updates (Windows Update / WSUS).
* Monitor server availability, capacity, and performance.
2\. Active Directory and Directory Services
* Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environments.
* Create and maintain users, groups, OUs, and security policies.
* Manage and implement Group Policies (GPOs) according to corporate standards.
* Administer and support AD-integrated services, including:
+ DNS
+ DHCP
+ Authentication and authorization services
* Work in multi-domain and multi-forest environments, including trust scenarios.
3\. File Server and File Services
* Administer Windows-based file servers (File Server).
* Configure and manage NTFS permissions and network shares.
* Implement access policies, disk quotas, and file auditing.
* Support projects involving reorganization, migration, or expansion of File Server environments.
4\. Virtualization and Infrastructure
* Administer virtualization environments, preferably Hyper\-V and/or VMware.
* Create, configure, and maintain Windows virtual machines.
* Support capacity planning and infrastructure resource optimization.
* Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams as required.
5\. Deployment of New Environments and Projects
* Participate in deploying new servers and infrastructure services.
* Support operating system upgrade and environment consolidation projects.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for the environment (topologies, standards, and procedures).
Requirements:
* Solid hands-on experience administering Windows Server (physical and virtual).
* Practical, in-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD DS).
* Experience creating and managing GPOs.
* Experience administering DNS, DHCP, and File Server in corporate environments.
* Experience supporting infrastructure environments, including incident and problem management.
* Knowledge of virtualization environments (Hyper\-V and/or VMware).
* Ability to analyze and troubleshoot critical environments.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to document technical environments.
Desirable (Differentiators)
* Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, especially in hybrid scenarios (AD \+ Entra ID).
* Experience with Entra ID Connect (identity synchronization).
* Intermediate PowerShell knowledge for administrative automation.
* Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., Windows Server, Hybrid Administrator) or VMware certifications.
* Experience working in ITIL-compliant environments.
Additional Information:
* Contract exclusively for PJ (individual contractor) model;
* Fixed monthly fee;
* On-site presence required during the adaptation/knowledge-transfer period.
