Job Summary: The Senior Geologist – Redetermination will join a multicultural geoscience team and be responsible for robust and defensible geological models and narratives. Key Highlights: 1. Promotes a culture of safety and technical excellence. ### **Context and Environment** * Work within a multicultural geoscience and reservoir team. * High expectations for technical and behavioral excellence, with a high degree of technical autonomy. ### **Responsibilities** **The employee must perform activities in compliance with the SMS (HSE) Management System, aligned with the One Maestro principles, aiming to protect people, the environment, assets, and the company’s reputation. The employee must promote safety culture in geoscience activities and ensure effective interface with the affiliate’s SMS department and the corporate SMS coordination for geosciences (cf. CR EP GSR 002\).** The Senior Geologist – Redetermination is a central member of the affiliate’s Redetermination organization, working closely with a multidisciplinary subsurface team and corporate functions. Reports to the Redetermination Manager and will be involved in the following activities: * Ensure comprehensive understanding of the AIP contractual terms, particularly those governing redetermination principles and the Technical Procedure described in Annex V. * Quantify the impact of geological uncertainties on VOE/STOIIP and tract participation through targeted deterministic sensitivities, avoiding unnecessary complexity and complying with AIP contractual terms. * Ensure full mastery of Common Database (CDB) and Base Data Project (BDP) concepts. * Acquire in-depth knowledge of field geological data and develop expertise in dynamic field synthesis. * Facilitate SWOT analyses (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and prioritize different models and sensitivities to identify optimal (Winning) and suboptimal (Losing) scenarios for expected TEPBr outcomes and cases submitted by Parties. * Perform QC/QA on geological workflows and models from operators and partners, identify inconsistencies or methodological biases, and assess their impact on tract participation. * Be responsible for the availability and quality of geological inputs for various internal and external technical committees, ensuring TotalEnergies’ position remains clear, consistent, and well-documented. * Ensure coherence across all geological parameters, translating complex subsurface issues into solid, ready-to-use, and defensible technical arguments. * Participate in all technical sessions with partners and consultants (specialized in redetermination projects). * Ensure appropriate documentation, traceability, and internal validation of all geological inputs supporting redetermination. * Serve as the technical reference for geological topics related to redetermination within the affiliate. Context and Environment * Work within a multicultural geoscience and reservoir team. * High expectations for technical and behavioral excellence, with a high degree of technical autonomy. **Responsibilities** * Deliver clear, robust, and defensible geological models and narratives supporting TotalEnergies’ position in redetermination processes. * Ensure the Company’s technical credibility throughout negotiations with partners and in potential expert proceedings. * Responsible for internal validation of all documentation intended for specialists. * Maintain effective teamwork within the redetermination group and advise the Redetermination Manager and Asset Director on subsurface matters. ### **Candidate Profile** * Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD or equivalent in Geology or Earth Sciences. * Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in geological interpretation and modeling in E\&P environments. * Strong understanding of the entire subsurface value chain (geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering). * Ability to focus on key value drivers and translate uncertainties into decision-ready deliverables. * Recognized interpersonal skills, with strong capability and interest in technical communication. * Ability to actively collaborate within 2G\&R and with other development and business disciplines. * Technical Competencies: Strong expertise in geological interpretation; proficiency in Petrel; and ability to rapidly learn tools for geological analysis and modeling. * Prior involvement in unitization and/or redetermination processes is a relevant advantage. ### **Additional Information** **TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual development, and offers equal employment opportunities to all candidates.**
