**Summary of Responsibilities:**
The Mechanical Technician performs mechanical maintenance of the plant, responsible for providing technical support to the maintenance team, implementing plans, and monitoring service execution to ensure reliability and availability of industrial equipment. Works preventively and reactively, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contributing to continuous process improvement. This professional reports\-to the plant’s mechanical maintenance supervision, and the following activities are performed by this role:
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Technical support: Provide technical support to the mechanical maintenance team, guiding execution and best practices.
* Maintenance plans: Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans, focusing on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
* Compliance: Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Failure analysis: Participate in equipment failure analyses and propose technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
* Supplier development: Support engineers in developing new suppliers of components for plant equipment.
* Reporting: Prepare and contribute to technical reports on equipment condition and effectiveness of maintenance actions.
* Performance indicators: Monitor maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective actions when necessary.
* Standards and safety: Ensure systems and processes comply with applicable regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Technical drawing interpretation: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute and monitor field activities.
* Training and support: Share technical knowledge with the team, contributing to departmental development.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Completed high school education and a technical course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields;
* Active registration with CRT (Regional Council of Industrial Technicians);
* Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance at gold processing plants;
* Knowledge of maintenance for mills, conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, crushers, and other industrial equipment;
* Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission systems;
* Must reside in the region**.**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Familiarity with SAP PM (Maintenance) module;
* Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems;
* Effective communication skills and ability to train teams;
* Knowledge of industrial safety standards and applicable regulations.
**Additional Information:**
* Work schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off;
* Transportation, accommodation, and meals provided by the company;
* Must reside in Itaituba, Santarém\-PA, or nearby regions.
