Conducting technical inspections and maintenance monitoring The company seeks a Mechanical Engineer based in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Provide technical supervision support in mechanical engineering. Perform contract oversight related to cargo handling, personnel transportation, and riverine equipment. Conduct technical inspections on barges, vessels, pushboats, as well as mechanical equipment and components. Monitor and analyze maintenance plans. Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, descriptive memoranda, and schedules. Inspect cargo-handling accessories and develop rigger studies. Review technical documents, standards, and relevant legislation. Provide operational support for cargo transportation and handling during maintenance shutdowns. Conduct technical visits to suppliers and job sites. Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Production Engineer, or Mechanical Systems Engineer may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this role. Bachelor's degree required.
