We are seeking a professional to join our IT team who will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and evolution of IT infrastructure services, guaranteeing business continuity, environment reliability, and support for corporate strategies—through applied technical expertise, focus on standardization, documentation, and observability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Promote continuous employee training and development through structured performance evaluations, constructive feedback, and active leadership, creating conditions, providing guidance, and offering pathways for each team member’s professional growth. * Ensure execution of tactical planning by clearly communicating objectives, defining expectations, and transparently assigning responsibilities—to ensure team members remain focused and committed to achieving established goals and objectives. * Manage operational KPIs for IT infrastructure (e.g., availability, MTTR/MTBF, incident recurrence, change success rate) through assessments and monitoring—to ensure results align with strategy and achievement of defined goals and objectives. * Manage operations and availability of IT infrastructure services—including cloud, on\-premises, networking, telecommunications, and Microsoft 365—by defining operational guidelines, tracking KPIs, managing capacity and performance, patching and backups, and prioritizing demands across teams and vendors—to ensure business continuity, service stability, and reduced downtime. * Lead and ensure resolution of critical incidents and complex failures, coordinating end-to-end diagnostics, log and metric analysis, facilitating war rooms when needed, and validating corrective and preventive actions—including root cause analysis (RCA)—to minimize business impact, reduce recurrence, and increase environment reliability. * Establish, standardize, and maintain operational processes and documentation for the area—ensuring definition of procedures, runbooks, and diagrams; periodic review; and incorporation of lessons learned—to improve predictability, reduce reliance on individual knowledge, and ensure operational consistency. * Manage and evolve monitoring, logging, and observability practices—defining critical services, metrics, and service levels; guiding alert and dashboard configuration; and promoting continuous improvement—with a focus on proactive incident detection, MTTR reduction, and data-driven decision support. * Manage people, demands, and projects within the infrastructure area—setting priorities, work plans, and resource allocation between Infrastructure and Field Service; conducting management rituals; tracking deliverables; and aligning status updates with executive leadership—to ensure quality, timeliness, team development, and management transparency. * Manage operational risks, business continuity, and infrastructure costs—ensuring existence and effectiveness of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans, as well as control and optimization of infrastructure and service costs—particularly in cloud environments—in alignment with corporate guidelines. * Manage infrastructure vendors and contracts—monitoring SLAs, performance, costs, and compliance; driving continuous improvements; and ensuring alignment with business needs and governance policies. * Ensure technical excellence of IT infrastructure—acting as a technical reference in supporting architectural decisions, advanced troubleshooting, and change validation—to guarantee stability, security, and availability of critical environments.
