Job Summary:
Coordinate environmental management by developing and standardizing procedures and ensuring compliance with legislation across various contracts and business units.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coordinate environmental management, ensuring alignment among construction projects, contracts, and business units.
* Develop, review, and standardize environmental procedures, policies, and guidelines applicable to different contract types (civil works, industrial projects, data centers, retrofit, maintenance, facilities, energy, and IT).
* Serve as the technical environmental reference.
* Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation (federal, state, and municipal).
* Coordinate environmental licensing processes, authorizations, permits, and conditions.
* Monitor legal requirements, deadlines, and environmental risks, proposing preventive and corrective actions.
* Support internal and external audits and inspections conducted by environmental agencies.
* Support and guide construction teams in implementing environmental plans, such as PGRS and PGRCC.
* Waste, effluent, emission, noise, and dust control;
* Management of contaminated areas, soils, and water resources.
* Review and approve environmental plans for construction projects and suppliers.
* Monitor environmental indicators and contract performance, proposing improvements.
* Coordinate and support maintenance of environmental management systems.
* Support projects and construction works pursuing environmental certifications (e.g., LEED, corporate client environmental requirements).
* Develop and monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions programs, inventories, audits, and offset reports.
* Conduct sustainability reporting (e.g., CDP, Ecovadis, etc.).
* Contribute to consolidation of environmental ESG indicators, support sustainability reporting, and meet client requirements.
* Propose initiatives for environmental efficiency, impact reduction, circular economy, and sustainable innovation.
* Support supplier assessment and qualification from an environmental perspective.
* Ensure service providers comply with environmental requirements.
* Develop and deliver environmental training for corporate teams, construction sites, and other contracts.
* Strengthen environmental and sustainability culture across the organization.
* Support environmental awareness campaigns and programs.
REQUISITOS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
* Solid experience in environmental management within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector, with in-depth knowledge of environmental legislation, licensing, waste management, environmental impacts, environmental management systems (ISO 14001), corporate client environmental requirements, and large-scale contracts.
* Experience with environmental audits, engagement with environmental agencies, and development of the Carbon Program.
