**Responsibilities and Duties** **Role Challenges**
Ensure material plans are aligned with forecasted demand, considering consumption and market fluctuations, seasonality, and constraints.
Monitor and adjust inventory levels to avoid excesses or stockouts, maintaining balance among availability, cost, and operational risk.
Actively participate in planning cycles, collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and procurement departments to align demand and capacity.
Handle multiple simultaneous demands, considering constraints such as deadlines, production capacity, and operational requirements.
Standardize material descriptions and master data management, ensuring material data is consistent, unambiguous, and standardized to enhance operational reliability.
Analyze consumption behavior and historical demand; perform simulations to anticipate potential bottlenecks, emergency needs, minimize stockouts, identify inefficiencies in material planning processes, and propose solutions that improve operational agility and reliability.
Diligently manage and maintain updated follow-up on your purchase requisition portfolio with suppliers, and implement action plans in case of deviations or stockouts.
Develop, monitor, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting routines (dashboards), ensuring data quality, traceability, and governance to support decision-making.
Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement projects and implementation of new technologies (e.g., automation, BI/analytics, ERP enhancements), ensuring scope, timeline, stakeholder communication, and benefit realization.
**Main Responsibilities:**
Develop and update material plans based on forecasted demand, consumption history, and seasonality, ensuring necessary supply for operations while avoiding both stockouts and inventory excesses.
Contribute to and lead continuous improvement, innovation, and solution implementation (processes, systems, and technologies) in material planning, ensuring delivery and value capture.
Actively participate in integrated planning cycles, collaborating with departments such as maintenance, engineering, and procurement to align demand forecasts and capacity. Contribute to planning strategy through detailed analysis and technical support for decisions impacting the supply chain.
Ensure standardization and consistency of material master data, guaranteeing codes are consistent, unambiguous, and standardized, promoting data governance as a key factor for operational reliability and process efficiency.
Define, develop, monitor, and analyze material planning and management KPIs (e.g., lead time, coverage, service level, inventory accuracy, stockout rate, and process efficiency). Identify deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and propose/track action plans.
Develop contingency plans and strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Ensure planning and data management systems are integrated and up-to-date to support integrated planning processes.
Anticipate factors affecting material availability—such as logistical constraints or supplier capacity—and act proactively.
Develop and maintain management dashboards and reports (Excel/Power BI), automating data collection routines and ensuring information consistency for diverse audiences.
Apply best practices in project management (planning, scheduling, risk, and stakeholders) for supply chain improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:**
Completed undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or related fields.
**Desirable:**
Corporate Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Management, Continuous Improvement/Lean, and/or Digital Transformation/Innovation.
**Required and Desirable Knowledge and Certifications:**
Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel; Advanced PowerPoint;
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (SAP, ORACLE, TOTVS or similar);
Proven experience in MRP, Demand Planning, Material Management and Standardization;
Knowledge of development, implementation, and management of projects, solutions, systems, automation, and new technologies;
Creation and management of KPIs, goal setting, and performance analysis;
Desirable: Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development);
Desirable: knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, PDCA, Six Sigma);
Desirable: knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile/Scrum/Kanban);
Desirable: familiarity with supply chain analytics/automation (e.g., RPA, data integration, AI);
Desirable: Intermediate English proficiency.

TIC Trens concessionaire is a company of Grupo Comporte (a Brazilian holding comprising companies in road and urban passenger transport, cargo, and tourism) and CRRC (a leading Chinese company manufacturing and supplying railway materials and supplies worldwide).
TIC Trens will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the North Axis Intercity Train, connecting São Paulo to Campinas, reaching speeds of 140 km/h, with capacity for up to 860 passengers per trip.
The 101-km route will provide an express service between Barra Funda Terminal, Jundiaí, and Campinas, with a travel time of 64 minutes. There will also be the Intermunicipal Train (TIM) between Jundiaí and Campinas, covering 44 kilometers in 33 minutes. The project further includes operation, maintenance, and modernization of São Paulo’s Line 7\-Rubi metropolitan train line.****
