




Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring effective communication with health insurance providers, guaranteeing the flow of information and authorizations necessary to sustain home care services. Ensuring administrative and financial excellence in home care Ensure effective and efficient communication with health insurance providers, guaranteeing the correct flow of required information and authorizations to sustain patient care continuity, thereby contributing to administrative and financial excellence in home care processes. * Establish and maintain regular contact with health insurance providers to report hospitalizations, deaths, and other patient-related matters. * Request and monitor authorizations for service extensions and contract addendums, ensuring uninterrupted care delivery. * Request, save, and track patient service reports, following up with responsible team members as needed to support extension processes. * Adjust budgets to align costs with home care service demands and practices. * Approve budgets whenever authorized by the health insurance provider or when contractually justified for service provision, and enter passwords accordingly. * Request and monitor service authorization forms (guides) via health insurance providers’ portals, attaching relevant documents. * Prepare the monthly patient census and submit it to health insurance providers within established deadlines. * Resolve authorization issues with health insurance providers, directly supporting the completion of billing processes. * Ensure all required documentation is delivered to the billing department in a timely manner. * Initiate claim appeals (reversal of denials) where appropriate. * Formalize high-cost item authorizations via email to internal teams. * Monitor and report any inconsistencies or issues identified during task execution. * Monitor and respond via email to health insurance providers’ requests within stipulated timeframes. * Forward authorization forms (guides) for signature. * Monitor and report any inconsistencies or issues identified during task execution to coordination.
