A Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization has the right materials, services, and suppliers — at the appropriate cost, quality, and timing — aligning procurement with business strategy.
**REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy**
Define and implement end-to-end supply chain and procurement strategy
Manage strategic procurement categories
Integrate procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics
Develop operational efficiency and cost reduction initiatives
Ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
**Supplier Management**
Establish processes for supplier selection, qualification, and development
Negotiate high-value strategic contracts
Build long-term partnerships and relationships with key suppliers
Monitor supplier performance, risks, and compliance
**Financial Management and Business Impact**
Lead cost reduction (cost saving) initiatives
Manage departmental budget and expenses
Support cash flow through commercial negotiations
Monitor market fluctuations (raw materials, exchange rates, inflation)
Directly contribute to margin improvement and competitiveness
**Planning, Inventory, and Logistics**
Ensure effective demand planning and supply fulfillment
Optimize inventory levels and working capital
Guarantee on-time and complete deliveries
Reduce procurement and operational lead times
**Leadership and People Management**
Lead procurement, contracts, and supply chain teams
Establish governance, processes, and KPIs
Develop talent, succession plans, and a high-performance culture
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment
**Compliance, Risk, and ESG**
Ensure compliance with internal policies and legislation
Mitigate risks (fraud, conflicts of interest, suppliers)
Conduct audits and internal controls
Implement ESG practices across the supplier chain
**Technology and Transformation**
Implement and enhance procurement systems (ERP, SRM, etc.)
Automate procurement processes
Leverage data and analytics (spend analysis) for decision-making
Drive digital transformation within the function
**Strategic Engagement with Senior Leadership**
Collaborate with CEO, COO, and CFO on strategic decision-making
Contribute to strategic planning and company expansion
Ensure the supply chain function serves as a competitive differentiator
**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:**
Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory and procurement;
Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields;
Proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with Sienge system is desirable
