Structured career plan Position Description: Restaurant Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive leader to supervise the daily operations of our unit. The ideal candidate must ensure the restaurant operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction, as well as focusing on achieving profitability targets. Key Responsibilities People Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate the team (front-of-house and kitchen). Resolve conflicts and foster a positive work environment. Customer Experience: Ensure excellent service delivery, handling feedback and complaints diplomatically and promptly. Financial Control: Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, control COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), and analyze sales and profit reports. Inventory Management: Oversee orders with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure no waste or stock shortages occur. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all health surveillance (ANVISA), occupational safety, and licensing requirements are up to date. Local Marketing: Propose promotional activities and strategies to increase customer traffic and average transaction value. Requirements and Qualifications: Category Details Experience Minimum 2–3 years in leadership roles within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. Education Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred). Skills Proficiency in POS systems (Point of Sale), intermediate Excel skills, and basic financial management knowledge. Soft Skills Inspirational leadership, emotional intelligence, agility in decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
