**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazardous conditions and take all necessary actions to eliminate risk situations;
* Assist in implementing safety procedures and standards within the company to raise employee awareness regarding safe work practices;
* Jointly determine, with the occupational safety engineer, mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) and supervise employees’ proper use thereof;
* Inspect fire protection equipment when required by conditions, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity;
* Manage the emergency response team in accordance with current legislation;
* Research and analyze working conditions through qualitative and quantitative assessments to gather data for safety programs and propose control measures to minimize risks;
* Conduct lectures and other training methods to disseminate safety and occupational hygiene standards, inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, dangerous, or arduous activities, and monitor and evaluate training and dissemination activities;
* Supervise third-party service providers to ensure compliance with and management of the company’s safety procedures; hold meetings with contractors and enforce contractual clauses related to occupational health and safety (OHS);
* Implement and monitor the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), reviewing its observations and proposals to adopt corrective and preventive accident measures;
* Develop plans to control accident consequences, establishing conditions for fire suppression and rescue of victims from any type of accident;
* Support SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention), organizing necessary activities and resources;
* Investigate and analyze factors, causes, and circumstances of occupational accidents;
* Provide support and assistance in case of accidents involving victims;
* Manage, control, and review OHS documentation, organizing records in relation to safety systems’ procedures and standards, updating database entries and feeding the information network via the Senior System;
* Monitor the development of health and safety programs;
* Prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for activities and conduct on-site follow-up;
* Participate in occupational safety meetings with managers, providing relevant data, presenting suggestions, and assessing the feasibility of proposed safety measures to improve the existing system;
* Collaborate in all company health and safety initiatives to foster a preventive culture.
* Perform area-specific tasks to support the company, participating ethically, legally, and lawfully in food production, committed to continuously improving safety culture, food quality, and environmental respect.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Requirements:
* Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety or related fields;
* Active registration with the competent authority;
* Over 1 year of relevant experience;
* Driver’s License Category B;
* Basic computer skills, knowledge of labor legislation and NRs (Normative Rules).
