Job Summary:
The Innovation Specialist will prospect innovations, new businesses, and partnerships to strengthen the supermarket sector and generate value for APAS.

The Innovation Specialist will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing growth and expansion opportunities for the ecosystem formed by APAS, its members, and suppliers. They will act strategically in prospecting innovations, new businesses, markets, customers, and partnerships, contributing to strengthening the supermarket sector and generating value for APAS.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct market research and analyses to identify innovations, new business opportunities, growing sectors, and market trends that the company can leverage.
* Actively contribute to strengthening the innovation culture within the supermarket sector and at APAS, encouraging the generation and implementation of creative ideas that lead to the development of innovative products, services, and solutions.
* Identify and evaluate potential partners and strategic alliances that can add value to the APAS / Supermarket ecosystem, seeking synergies beneficial to both parties.
* Perform financial analyses, risk assessments, and feasibility studies and business plans to evaluate the viability and return potential of new projects and business opportunities.
* Continuously monitor transformations in the retail and supermarket market, changes in consumer behavior, technological trends, and industry innovations, ensuring constant updates and positive impacts for members.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* **Knowledge**: Familiarity with the innovation ecosystem, market research techniques and investment analysis, financial mathematics, and innovation tools and methodologies such as Design Thinking or Lean Startup.
* **Skills**: Advanced negotiation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
* **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
* **Experience**: Experience in new business development, innovation, or related areas; knowledge of startups is a plus.
