This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.* *We are looking for a Senior Foreign Trade Analyst to handle import and export processes, preparing control spreadsheets, scheduling deliveries of parts and equipment, monitoring the status of open import orders, in-transit shipments, and customs clearance; and requesting warranty-related imports or direct customer imports. Conduct follow-up with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure process flow meets expected deadlines, costs, and quality.* Job Description * Update daily the import control system and spreadsheet (Import Follow-up), analyzing information provided by customs brokers, identifying errors and outdated entries, proposing improvements, and ensuring necessary data is available for the Foreign Trade and Inside Sales departments. * Monitor the status of import orders—open orders, in-transit shipments, and customs clearance—using the shared spreadsheet (Import Follow-up / CCDE0002\) and e-mails, ensuring compliance with deadlines for shipping, transit, customs clearance, and delivery. * Submit import registration instructions to the customs broker as early as possible and provide supporting information upon request, avoiding interference with established targets and enabling effective coordination of import processes. * Verify charges related to import processes based on price lists, quotations, and/or data from the import processes themselves to prevent discrepancies during payment. * Request warranty-related imports for customers, as required by the Parts and Components department, via e-mail to exporters to meet demand. * Prepare biweekly air and sea import cost estimates using service provider data (foreign trade) to fulfill requests from operational departments. * Prepare weekly controls (spreadsheets, e-mails, etc.) to enable measurement of deadlines set for services delivered by customs brokers. * Maintain the import file updated and organized. * Support the foreign trade supervisor and management, as well as related departments, contributing to efficient information exchange and successful business execution. * Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations regarding work processes, quality management systems, environment, health, safety, labor legislation, and safeguard documentation under one’s responsibility—including maintaining workplace cleanliness and order. * Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Foreign Trade or related fields; * Advanced English proficiency; * Relevant work experience. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. * Experience with integrated ERP systems. * Knowledge of import expenses and taxes. * Familiarity with customs clearance procedures is desirable. * Knowledge of foreign trade legislation.
