Packaging and storing materials **Position: Melting Assistant Operator** Location: São José dos Campos – SP An industrial company is seeking a professional to work as a Melting Assistant Operator. **Employment Type:** Temporary (9 months), with potential for permanent hiring based on performance. **Responsibilities:** * Remove billets from the pit using an overhead crane and position them on the saw table; * Operate the saw to cut the bottom and top ends of billets; * Conduct visual inspections of billets to identify possible defects such as scratches, cracks, bleeding, deformations, length discrepancies, and weight variations; * Identify billets (alloy/heat stamping); * Prepare and load billets for heat treatment; * Complete the charge traceability sheet; * Affix identification labels to materials; * Load and unload billet charges; * Package and store materials in the yard or loading area. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes; * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Work Schedule:** Rotating shift schedule (6 days on / 2 days off): **Salary:** R$13.17/hour **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * On-site meals * Basic food basket * Food allowance of R$200.00 per month * 40% hazardous duty allowance * After probation period: medical insurance plan **Applicants from the following cities:** São José dos Campos, Jacareí, Caçapava, Taubaté, and Pindamonhangaba.
